Going to Korea (Again)
Semua
itu berawal dari keberangkatan gue ke Korea lagi di bulan Mei. Secara
gue baru saja ke Korea bulan April kemarin untuk episode ke 2 trip
'berburu cherry blossoms' (baca di sini), eh tau-taunya 1 bulan kemudian berangkat
lagi.
Kenapa
ke Korea lagi? Ini pertanyaan yang banyak gue terima via DM sehabis
posting IG story lagi di Korea. Trip bulan Mei 2019 ini bisa dibilang
'short escape 'business only' trip ^^. Gue sebut 'short escape'
karena tripnya gak sampe seminggu, cuma 4 hari 4 malam, itupun
melewati weekend. Jadi, gue berangkat jumat malam tiba sabtu pagi,
hari Senin full-day acara, Selasa full-day ketemu kenalan di Korea,
rabu pagi udah terbang balik ke Jakarta. Tripini gue sebut 'business
trip' karena tujuan utamanya hanya untuk menghadiri Induction
Ceremony Honorary Reporters Korea.net 2019 yang diadakan tanggal 20
Mei 2019. Hari-hari lainnya pun kebanyakan gue pake untuk ketemuan
dengan teman Korea ataupun untuk belanja barang-barang 'titipan'.

Trip Korea ini walaupun pendek tetapi merupakan trip yang terwujud
dengan berbagai perjuangan dan pengorbanan, salah satunya
mengorbankan sesuatu yang 'esensial' dalam hidup gue (gak perlu
dibahas lebih lanjutlah ini – off the record). Namun, gue bersyukur
gue tetap mengambil keputusan untuk berangkat walau berat konsekuensi
yang harus ditanggung. Kalau gue gak pergi, pasti gue menyesal seumur
hidup.
It
was all started with my visit to Korea again in May 2019. At that
time, I've just returned from my spring trip to Korea in the month of
April. It was my second 'cherry blossoms hunting trip'.
Why
I went to Korea again? There were many friends DM me asking this question after they saw
my IG story in Korea. In fact, my trip was actually a 'short escape
for business only' trip ^^. I named it a 'short escape' trip because
it was only 4 days 4 nights trip. So, I departed on Friday midnight,
arrived in Korea on Saturday morning and returned to Jakarta again on
Wednesday morning. Why it was categorized as a business trip? Because
the main purpose of this trip was for attending 'The 2019 Induction
Ceremony Korea.net Honorary Reporters' that held on May 20, 2019. All
my schedules for this trip were mostly related to the induction
ceremony and for 'meet-up' purpose only.
Facts!
Until
now, I'm so grateful with my decision to attend the
induction ceremony. If I didn't go, I would have really regretted it
in my whole life.
