27 Nov 2019 -  Sesi interview BFIC & ACH, Haedong Yonggungsa, Busan Tower

Jadwal kami hari ini lagi dan lagi diawali dengan sesi wawancara eksklusif, kali ini dengan Sekretaris Jendral Busan Foundation for International Cooperation (BFIC) dan perwakilan ASEAN Culture House (ACH). BFIC ini adalah institusi yang fokus dalam diplomasi publik untuk Glocal branding, dengan salah satu kegiatannya adalah menyediakan pelayanan konseling untuk warga asing di Busan. Di BFIC ini mereka memiliki layanan konseling berbahasa Indonesia yang siap membantu WNI yang tinggal / kuliah /kerja di Busan. Sementara ACH sendiri merupakan sebuah tempat yang menaungi pertukaran budaya antara Korea dan negara-negara ASEAN. Di ACH, selain interview, kami juga diajak mengunjungi galeri dan museum ACH.

Our schedule today was an exclusive interview session with the secretary general of Busan Foundation for International Cooperation (BFIC) and the representative of ASEAN Culture House (ACH). BFIC is an institution that focus in public diplomacy for Glocal branding, and to make Busan as a global city where all citizens can live in harmony regardless their nationality. Among foreigners, this organization is well-known for their counselling service and support to expats, including Indonesians who live, work or study in Busan. While ACH is a place that play a major role to bridge the cultural exchange between Korea and ASEAN countries. In ACH, we not only came for an interview but also for visiting their museum.

Setahun yang lalu, di penghujung November, saya berada di Busan, Korea Selatan untuk suatu trip yang diadakan oleh Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS). Trip ini adalah bagian dari program undangan jurnalis asing yang diadakan oleh KOCIS setiap tahunnya. Dalam trip ini, saya bersama dengan 6 orang honorary reporters (HR) undangan lainnya mendapatkan suatu kehormatan untuk meliput KTT ASEAN-ROK dan mengeksplor kota Busan selama 6 hari 5 malam.

*Buat yang belum tau, KOCIS ini adalah sebuah agensi afiliasi dari  Kementerian Budaya, Olahraga dan Pariwisata (MCST) Korea yang menaungi 32 Korean Cultural Centers di 27 negara dan Korea.net

 

One year ago, today, Nov 24, I was in Busan, South Korea for an invitation trip that held by Korean Culture and Information Services (KOCIS). Every year, KOCIS will invite influential journalists from major countries around the world to support their visit and coverage of, Korea. This time, six honorary reporters (HR) of Korea.net got the honor to be invited to join this program. I was one of the lucky HRs that got an opportunity to cover the ASEAN-ROK Commemorative Summit and explore Busan in 6D5N.
